Temp doubled by the time we finished today's ride, well almost doubled. Started at 7 made it to 13 degrees. Windchill was -6 and just eked into positive territory by the time we got home, at 2 degrees.Very comfortable. We both know how to dress and ride in this kind of weather. Don't get me wrong, I love 70 degrees and sunny, but this fresh snow sure is beautiful. That's one of the nice things about living here in Minnesota, the different seasons. They all have their good, bad, beautiful and ugly, no doubt. Today and yesterday....beautiful.
Old Blue was feeling extra smooooooth today as the old chain got a shot of lube, before the ride. This weather, with the road spray, salt and sand knocks that lube off the old hairy chain real fast.
Been riding Old Blue a lot this winter. He loves exploding through the snow plow drifts left on the trails. The old hairy legs likes the trails plowed, and Old Blue's granny gears.Great riding with Amy like always. Good weekend of riding, real good. 32/13.3
