Three flats total, two at the same time (not my bike), wind wasn't what was promised by the weather folks, and the group didn't work together very well. We had a hard time getting into a nice smooth pace line, and a few of the riders got dropped. Part of the problem was the terrain...lots of rollers, so with varying hill climbing abilities, the pace line was pretty ragged.
It was a cloudless, beautiful day, where a little fall was not only in the air, but could be seen in some faint appearances of gold in the fields and trees.
It's always good to ride with friends, and I understand not all rides are going to be perfect. I'm happy to take the not-so-good, with the good and great rides. 88/19.2
