It was a good weekend, with lots a miles, family and friends...sure am lucky.

Turned 55 today.
Some observations:
I've got this big blue blanket that seems to be placed on my bed earlier in the fall every year now. It also seems to be put back in the closet later in the spring.
Fiber content is the first thing I look at on food labels.
I read food labels.
Kids and grandlumps are smarter.
Hills I've been riding all these years somehow got longer and steeper.
I seem to be making more noises when I stand up or sit down.
I say "I remember when" more often, even though I can't remember why I walked into a room.
I'm older than the President of the United States.
Every day is a recovery day.
Considering cassette cogs modifications.
My whiskers are whiter and my waist is wider.
I am very happy.
