Needed a little quality alone time, so I got on my
Orbea, with my camera in my left jersey pocket, and started pedalling toward Baker. I was greeted with cool, crisp, spring air, an empty hazy blue sky, and peace. Just beautiful, quiet, calm, with the birds, wind and my thoughts all that I could hear. 52/17.5

Alone time is good!
It's amazing how much more aware of your surroundings you can become, when you are riding alone. I grew to love my bike commutes into work last summer because I had 50-60 minutes each way to quiet my mind and listen, smell & see every thing around me (the smell of freshly cut clover is the best).
My only problem was, I enjoyed it so much that I found myself riding at an easy pace to prolong the commute!!! Not so this spring, I will pick up the pace...then I'll treat myself to a nice iced latte! Treats, that's what it's all about :-)
