Sat Redux On Sun

This was a surprisingly good weekend of riding. It looked rather dismal as the weather forecasts just got wetter and wetter. Yesterday got a good effort in albeit short, and today got in a rain free delightful ride along some beautiful back roads up to Hanover. Then we followed the Crow River back south to Watertown and eventually home around Lake Minnetonka and through Excelsior.
It was a grey day, but that kept the temps in the 60's, the humidity was low, and there was little to no wind. Perfect riding conditions.
With all the rain we've been having, it was hard to see anything but green. I guess all the foliage is trying to get as much light as it can while the sun's still at it's highest.
Rode with Paula, Mike and Amy. Really good company and cyclists. I think Amy maybe feeling a bit better, as she's back to her old sneaky-self again. Yep she was moanin', groanin', and whining as we approached Christmas Lake hill and then shot up it like it was a descent. Ya always gotta watch out for her. 81/19.9

Amy posted this picture of her new bike on Facebook a couple of days back, and said I could post it here.

Ya know HL's, I think you're right. 60's are perfect for riding...not too hot, not too cold.

I see what you mean about Amy's bike.....very nice. She has good taste.

Glad you had a good crew of friends to ride with today.

Yahooo, to the good week on the bike. Seems a good week on the bike makes all other problems "so what"
