A Little Triva

The boulder marking the 45th Parallel is located on the western edge of Minneapolis in a small patch of parkland near the intersection of Golden Valley Road and Wirth Parkway.
The plaque reads:
LATITUDE 45° 00'00" NORTH
LONGITUDE 93° 19'10" WEST
This boulder is located on the forty-fifth parallel of latitude which is midway between the Equator and the North Pole.
Elevation 888 feet above mean sea level.

As it looked today.
Been giving Old Blue a bit of a rest, and riding with Evil on these cold days along the 45th Parallel. Trails are in excellent winter condition and the skinnier tires, with fewer studs, on The Evil One, provide plenty of grip over the few patches of ice and packed snow. Listening to the weather while writing this, the prediction is for more snow and colder temps by Sunday. Oh good.
It's been a little colder than usual for December in Minnesota, but nothing we can't handle, and it has been sunny and gorgeous out with all the fresh snow. 21/13.6

Another beautiful sunset tonight.

Your night photos turned out way better than mine. I tried to get a few sunset shots tonight, but I didn't have the good camera with me.

What? Did Amy say road ride this weekend????
